Owner and lead tech, Sierra Labor Pros

Hi, I'm Matthew. I'm the guy who actually shows up.

I started Sierra Labor Pros because Reno deserved a handyman who answers the phone, gives a straight price, and leaves the place cleaner than he found it. Four years and 800 jobs later, that's still the whole plan.

Built in the Biggest Little City

Before there was a logo, there was a pickup truck, a borrowed dolly and a neighbor who needed a dresser built. Word got around. One assembly turned into a TV mount, which turned into a closet build, which turned into a full Saturday helping a family move into their place in Sparks.

I've kept the business small on purpose. When you call, you get me. When the job is done, I walk it with you, and if anything isn't right, I fix it before I leave. That's not a policy. It's just how I was raised.

The Sierra code

Out here a handshake still means something. These are the rules I work by on every job, big or small. Tap one to see what it means in practice.

On time, or you hear from me first▾
If traffic on 80 or a long job runs me late, you get a call before your window starts, not an apology after.
No surprises on the bill▾
You get a clear estimate before any work starts. If the job changes or needs extra time or materials, I check with you first.
Your home, treated like mine▾
Drop cloths down, shoes respected, and the work area cleaned up before I leave.
Not done until you say so▾
We walk the finished job together. If something's off, I fix it on the spot.
